METAL GEAR SURVIVE is a spin off of the main METAL GEAR SOLID V story that takes place in a strange alternate universe. Create your own character and learn to survive.



Gather resources, craft weapons, build a base camp and explore the unknown as you develop your survival skills in this hostile environment.

In CO-OP mode, form a team of four players to infiltrate and defend areas from hordes of creatures.

Strategically place fortifications and defensive weapons to give you an advantage against the ever-increasing enemies. Teamwork and ingenuity are essential in these fast-paced co-op missions.



Characteristics:

- Two ways to play - single player and co-op. These modes are linked through Base Camp, and character progression and gear carry over between the two modes.
- Build and develop your Base Camp. This provides access to weapons and crafting equipment, as well as serving as a command center for mission planning in both single player and co-op modes.
- Collect resources, blueprints and raw materials to use in crafting. These can be collected in single player mode by exploring the environment or earned in successful co-op missions.
- Expand your base camp with new facilities to help you survive, including growing crops, raising animals, and storing food and water.
- As your camp grows, you'll gain access to high-quality crafting items.
- Manage resources, including essentials such as food and water, as well as raw materials used for weapons, defenses and consumables.
